KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
CUSTOMER
- Accountable for development and delivery of strategic roadmap for Finance Data to drive real finance outcomes with reconciled & trusted data.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities/use-cases to reimagine finance with better data by leveraging industry thought leadership & delivering sustainable outcomes at speed
- Provide finance domain oversight for elevating adoption of AI, Gen AI & Agentic AI use-cases in Finance by ensuring finance leadership engagement across the life-cycle from ideation to approval for market launch
- Inspire finance with data-first mindset by fostering a culture of connected community to bring best ideas forward at speed
- Investigate new opportunities to create and develop more effective methodologies and processes for collecting, analyzing and presenting data
- Provide finance domain oversight for elevating adoption of AI, Gen AI & Agentic AI use-cases in Finance
- Lead a finance forum including partners from segment finance, finance platform, finance data & finance Analytics, Insights, and Artificial intelligence for cross-pollination of ideas & integrated data strategy
SHAREHOLDER
- Develop and manage plan and budget for data-related costs in Finance & ensure that we are delivering more with less (productivity & investment)
- Ensure compliance with well-defined enterprise technology delivery practices and standards and project management disciplines
- Assess / identify key issues and escalate to appropriate levels and relevant stakeholders and business management where required
- Lead or contribute to cross-functional / enterprise initiatives as a finance subject matter expert helping to identify risk / provide guidance for complex situations
- Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite
BREADTH & DEPTH
- Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as required
- Oversee and lead a large and/or highly complex and diverse reporting function for an area of significant risk, complexity or scope while growing talent, developing skills and capabilities to achieve career goals, support project / initiative success and achieve business results
- Provides coaching, mentorship and guidance to practitioners, business, executives within area of expertise
- Strategic partner to leadership team on the management of the portfolio and financials, with deep industry, external / internal, enterprise knowledge, recognizing and anticipating emerging trends
- Set operational team direction and collaborate with others to execute on common goals
- Focus on longer-range planning for functional area (e.g. 12 months or greater)
- Generally reports to an executive
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- 10+ years of relevant experience across the areas of Finance, Data Strategy, Data & AI Delivery & Program Management
- Experience of taking initiatives with an entrepreneurial drive in a highly matrix organization
- Passion to learn about the evolving landscape of Data & AI
