Job Description:

Private Wealth Management Wealth Advice provides high-net worth and ultra-high-net client segments with holistic discovery and planning towards customized advice and solutions. Based on the commitment to discovering and achieving what truly matters to each client, they bring a distinct discovery process and an integrated, team-based approach to build a wealth strategy that reflects each client's unique needs. Team members collaborate closely with each other to fully franchise the client while delivering the full spectrum of TD Wealth Services, Private Investment Advice, Private Investment Counsel, Private Banking, Private Trust, Wealth Advisory and Insurance Services.

This role is responsible for leading a team of specialized Wealth Management professionals, charged with asset accumulation, preservation and revenue growth, while delivering a differentiated HNW planning experience.

Accountabilities
  • Responsible for the delivery of a consistent and integrated PWM experience to all clients and prospects
  • Ensure that all new clients receive an enhanced on-boarding experience
  • Develop a thorough understanding and relationship with the top clients and be involved in communicating and re-assessing their personal family vision and financial Wealth Strategy

  • Lead and facilitate business development and practice management meetings, while working with TD partners and professional development teams
  • Work closely with key business leaders to develop business plan, ensuring the optimal use of resources and leverage TD's operating model to maximize efficiency, effectiveness and scale
  • Execute on the annual business plan to deliver results aligned with business strategies
  • Manage overall budget, revenue and expenditures, meet business objectives while increasing efficiency and effectiveness
  • Proactively identify key business opportunities, research and recommend enhancements, develop strategies to achieve recommendations and work closely with team to execute and implement
  • Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite
  • Lead a highly qualified and collaborative team of Wealth Management professionals, which includes Senior Private Bankers, PWM Planners, Business Succession Advisors, Estate Planning Advisor's and Trust Advisors (as applicable)
  • Sustain, identify strong talent, recruit and develop a diverse talent pipeline of qualified workforce to innovate and maximize individual strengths to lead to a better business outcome
  • Foster an environment that promotes sharing of knowledge, information, skills, and subject matter expertise among the team; ensure timely management and escalation of issues and create opportunities to collaborate with other functions and teams
  • Lead your team through change and create an environment where teams feel psychologically safe to challenge current practices by modeling resiliency and flexibility, communicating a compelling vision with clarity and empowering colleagues to drive innovation

Requirements
  • Undergraduate university degree
  • 10 years of Sales Leadership experience that includes leading diverse specialties
  • Investment Management course, CIM or CFA is required
  • CFP or PFP designation (CFP preferred) is an asset
  • Chartered Strategic Wealth Professional (CSWP) is a strong asset
  • Skilled and experienced financial services sales/marketing professional with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in servicing the high net worth sector
