We are looking for a Strategic Pursuits Coordinator to join our high-performing Strategic Pursuits and Alternative Project Delivery (SP+APD) team. What you can expect to do here:
- Work on higher value strategic, cross-sector, multidisciplinary proposals with teams of Project Managers, Engineers, Planners, Designers, Analysts, sub-consultants, and other staff as required.
- Maintain and enhance quality and compliance of deliverables.
- Supports knowledge & document management.
- Edits, formats, and proofs pre-written materials.
- Assist in developing, incorporating, and integrating win themes and discriminators into proposals.
- Coordinates generic content for bid responses.
- Support pre-proposal planning activities.
- Builds knowledge of the wider WSP offer, outside of the Transportation & Infrastructure business line.
What you will bring to WSP:
- Between 2-3 years of relevant project and/or proposal coordination experience
- Previous relevant experience in engineering consulting or construction
- Post-secondary diploma or undergraduate degree (project management, construction management, engineering, finance, or relevant field) is an asset.
- Adaptability and flexibility including the ability to manage project deadline pressure, ambiguity, and set personal priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, as the role requires continuous interaction with team members, project leadership, and external clients/stakeholders.
- Strong communications skills, both written and verbal, including report and contract writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and Outlook.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Proficiency with InDesign is an asset.
- Knowledge of SharePoint document management is an asset.
