This role is pivotal in enabling an upstream approach to building, testing, and releasing software, empowering developers across the enterprise to deliver value efficiently, securely, and confidently. You will own the end-to-end delivery of products and workflows, including technical design, implementation, regulatory/audit controls, and driving adoption.

Key Responsibilities

DevSecOps Leadership
  • Lead the automation and continuous improvement of build, test, release, and configuration processes across all applications, platforms, and infrastructure, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and security.
  • Assess the current maturity of DevSecOps practices, design target states, and guide teams through the adoption and transformation necessary to meet enterprise and industry standards.

Product Ownership & Delivery
  • Own the full product lifecycle, from gathering requirements and designing technical solutions to delivering, supporting, and driving adoption of products and workflows.
  • Ensure all solutions meet business needs and regulatory requirements, including handling documentation, compliance, and audit/governance controls throughout delivery.

Technical & Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Provide daily technical leadership and mentorship to engineers at all levels, fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and high performance.
  • Build strong relationships across technology, business, and control functions to ensure alignment, effective delivery, and shared understanding of risk and secure coding practices.

Developer Experience & Adoption
  • Strategize and implement automated pipeline capabilities that enhance developer efficiency and security, proactively identifying and removing friction points.
  • Drive the adoption of modern DevSecOps tools and practices through education, training, and hands-on support, ensuring continuous improvement of the developer experience.

Continuous Learning & Contribution

Qualifications:
  • University or Post-Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, or related fields, with a strong focus on security and automation.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing automation, pipeline, and security solutions at scale.
  • Deep knowledge of security tools (e.g., SAST, DAST, SCA), CI/CD systems, and infrastructure as code.
  • Proficient in modern programming/scripting languages and container security.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects of moderate to high complexity and provide guidance on complex reporting, analysis, and assessments.
  • Experience with regulatory, audit, and governance controls, including documentation and compliance.
