The FCRM Canada Training Team is responsible for leading the development and update of the AML/ATF, Sanctions and ABAC Awareness Training Programs. The team provide oversights to the launch, delivery and completion of this training globally to all learners. The team supports the FCRM function in identifying AML/ATF training needs, assessing and determining optimal solutions specialized AML/ATF training including defining the audience and, where applicable, establishing the frequency of the training. The team also oversees the continuing of continuing education requirements for the FCRM function and also promotes and maintains an inventory of learning opportunities and content for FCRM employees.

The Senior Financial Crime Risk Analyst, Training has the following responsibilities:
- Leads, supports and/or oversees the design and development, of FCRM Training as part of the FCRM Training program.
- Leads and/or supports the execution of all the stages of the training life cycle: collects and analyzes the training needs, designs and develops FCRM training that is engaging, as well as evaluates the training effectiveness in order to evolve AML training as needed.
- Partners with internal FCRM subject matter experts, other internal and external stakeholders, including third party vendors in the design, development and delivery of FRCM Training
- Develops and maintains strong relationships and works collaboratively with business partners in FRCM, Compliance, Learning and Development, , Risk, Internal Audit, Legal and others to keep abreast of matters, and escalate as necessary.
- Supports administrative work of the Training Team and the FCRM Training Program with activities such as managing the training team inbox, monitoring continuing education tracking and reporting, training library updates, general reporting, planning of internal conference, support of internal webinars, creating/updating procedures among other administrative duties as assigned.
- Plans and organizes training projects and uses project planning and training development tools as applicable
- Monitors AML/ATF industry developments and maintain advanced knowledge of new and amended AML/ATF laws and regulations in all jurisdictions where TD conducts business that could inform training
- Conducts research, assesses FCRM Program risk and compliance management trends that may be relevant to the FCRM training content.
- Supports global regulatory examinations and external/ internal audits with respect to request for information regarding the FCRM Training program; reviewing, packaging and providing information directly to the requesting party.
- Represents FCRM Training on projects as required
- Keeps leadership informed and up-to-date about the status, progress of projects and/or all relevant information related to day-to-day activities.
- Keep current on emerging trends/ developments and grow knowledge of the business, related tools and techniques.
- Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/points of interest.
- Provide thought leadership and/ or industry knowledge for AML/ATF matters and participate in knowledge transfer within the team and FCRM.
- Participate in personal performance management and development activities, including cross training within own team.
- Act as a brand ambassador for FCRM and the bank, both internally and/or externally.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or progressive work experience
- Minimum three years of relevant experience in training, compliance, risk management, or similar role
- Experience designing and developing training using instructional design or have a passion for learning
- Strong knowledge of AML/ATF risk/compliance management requirements, legal and regulatory environment, current and emerging trends, and training requirements
- Prior financial services experience and/or knowledge of TD Businesses
- Strong ability to apply critical thinking and to exercise sound judgement in making recommendations and escalating, as appropriate
- Ability to synthesize information, distill and communicate complex information, adapting to the needs of the executive audience
- Proven ability to present orally and in writing to a broad array of audiences to succinctly convey complex information
- Project management, interpersonal, problem-solving skills with a proven ability to develop project plans and independently coordinate and complete projects
- Ability to lead, develop, support, coordinate and implement program project plans and activities to completion
- Ability to manage competing priorities effectively, making good decisions based on business priorities and objectives, meeting multiple deadlines and escalating, where appropriate.
- Ability to contribute to strategic direction of FCRM Training and provide recommendations to senior leadership
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams and functions
- Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently
- Ability to identify and recommend process improvements and/or automation opportunities to enhance the productivity and operational efficiency of the team
- Proficient with computer applications including Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
- CAMS/ACFCS designation and accreditation in related fields (e.g. law, compliance, risk management, fraud management) would be an asset
- Experience developing and evaluating training using learning authoring tool (e.g., Articulate) would be an asset
