The Senior Policy Analyst manages and/or conducts complex, sectoral economic and policy research to assess the implications of new or changed policies, initiatives or legislation on economic development, productivity, innovation, clean technologies, investment and business development. The position works to advance a wide range of interesting and short and long term economic priorities from across government sectors.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

  • Degree in commerce, economics, business administration, public administration, or related field and at least two years of relevant experience.* Preference may be given to candidates with a master's degree.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

*Relevant experience includes:
  • Experience in the development, analysis and/or application of policy, legislation, or regulation.
  • Experience working on complex projects or assignments.
  • Experience providing recommendations or advice to decision makers.
  • Experience in developing collaborative working relationships with stakeholders.

Preference may be given to candidates with:
  • Experience conducting economic analysis in an academic or professional setting.
