We're taking TD Securities to the next step in its digital transformation. We are seeking an Email Deployment Specialist to conceptualize, develop, and implement key components of new and exciting campaigns using cloud technologies, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Pardot, to drive business growth and optimize the omni-channel experience.

As part of the TD Securities Digital Experience team, the Email Deployment Specialist will be primarily responsible for the creation of email templates, landing pages, configuration, testing and deployment of email campaigns. This includes building and executing email marketing campaigns, including one-time blasts, recurring, trigger-based, and dynamic-content driven emails - all the while following email best practices and ensuring regulatory requirements are met.

You're a seasoned email marketer, with campaign operations and execution experience, particularly using Pardot and Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You can see the big picture while focusing on the details and have the drive to continually look for ways to improve email campaign performance, the user experience and/or business growth. You'll fit in well if you like to own your space and execute with speed and precision, relishing all challenges as opportunities to dig in, collaborate and take TD Securities into the future of email marketing.

As an Email Deployment Specialist, you will:
  • Set up and execute campaign tools, including: list pulls/generation, data list uploads; configure segmentation rules, personalization and dynamic content elements; update HTML/CSS/JS; configure link tracking and email report tags; configure seed lists and test email sends
  • Build logic, validate, and implement automated workflows and triggered email deployments
  • Maintain existing automated workflows and sequences to ensure automated programs are continuously optimized to drive lead conversion and customer engagement
  • Comply with email compliance regulations in Canada and the U.S.
  • Perform QA and troubleshoot any performance issues
  • Ensure identical and consistent rendering across email service providers, devices, and browsers
  • Support Senior Manager, Digital Experience with the Marketing Cloud roadmap and strategy
  • Support new and existing Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations
  • Stay current with email marketing best practices and make recommendations to enhance email campaigns and email or digital related initiatives

Job Requirements

Share your most relevant experience, credentials, and knowledge for this role, as well as these essential requirements and attributes:
  • Undergraduate degree or technical certificate
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • 3+ years experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Pardot, including working with custom triggers, A/B testing, segmentation, dynamic content, and personalization strategies
  • Understanding and ability to build customer journeys, nurture and drip campaigns as well as one-off, triggered, ad hoc email blasts
  • Experience with Contact/Data Management (subscriber relationships, data extensions, etc.)
  • Knowledge of email development using HTML/CSS/JS
  • Knowledge of Email Studio, Content Builder, Automation Studio and Journey Builder
  • Understanding of Marketing Cloud best practices
  • Strong understanding of CAN-SPAM, CASL and GDPR rules
  • Able to work flexible hours on occasion
  • Process and detailed oriented
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in marketing automation and email deployment systems, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua, etc.

Nice-to-Haves
  • Certification as a Marketing Cloud Email Specialist and/or Pardot Specialist
  • Experience in campaign performance reporting
  • Knowledge of design platforms (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, XD, Figma)
  • Working knowledge of SQL/AMPScript
