What- the Role:
On behalf of our client, SWIM is recruiting for an Analyst, Compensation & Total Rewards for a contract running until end of 2024. Reporting into the Director of Total Rewards, the new Analyst will play a key role in post-acquisition integration work from a total rewards and compensation perspective- job evaluation (existing, new, and outliers), leveling jobs, total rewards reporting, managing participation in various external salary surveys, leading internal compensation surveys, conducting sophisticated compensation analysis (qualitative and quantitative), analyzing equity-based compensation, and participating in projects and ad hoc total rewards tasks.
The scope of this role is global, and the TR Specialist will be analyzing jobs and compensation in countries such throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. The Specialist will be using Excel, a sophisticated HRIS, and other tools.
SWIM will provide interested candidates with a thorough job description. Who- the Candidate:
  • 3+ years of related compensation analysis and total rewards experience
  • Multi-country total rewards experience is required (i.e. not only Canadian total rewards experience)
  • Proficient in Excel-based analysis and modeling (hands-on experience with most Excel formulas and functions, including pivot tables)
  • Relevant post-secondary education
 Bonus Points…
  • Post-acquisition integration experience (or perhaps experience with total rewards work for a new office location or job evaluation for a new business line… anything where brand-new analysis was required, as opposed to revising previously done work)
  • Experience doing total rewards and compensation analysis for operations and entities in Asia Pacific (APAC) and Europe (EMEA)
  • Experience working for a public company
  • Experience working in the fast-paced technology sector is an asset
  • Multi-lingual- this company has operations in over a dozen countries, so there are quite a few languages that would be beneficial!
How Much:
Competitive hourly consulting rate commensurate with level of skills, experience, and education- likely in the rage of $35 to $57. We know you are comfortable talking about compensation, so please discuss your expectations with SWIM and we can position you appropriately. We will also present our candidates with their expected salary range for if/when this contract converts to permanent employment.

Although the preference is for the Consultant to be based in Vancouver with the hiring manager and others on the HR team, our client is open to hiring an Analyst anywhere in Canada- as long as the consultant has flexibility in their work hours to increase cross-over with PST time zone. If based in Greater Vancouver, it is preferred that the Consultant be in the Vancouver HQ a couple days a week for team collaboration.
